Please join the leaders at APTA Kansas for our Virtual Town Hall that will take place live on Thursday evening Dec 14, 2024 from 7:00-9:00 pm where you can earn 2 CEUS in preparation for our CEU cycle at the end of 2024. Members will get these important updates for free and non-members can enjoy getting in-the-know for $35. 

There will be a small panel to assist in answering questions and clarifying some of the events that have impacted us in the last year and that we will be looking forward to in 2023.

Objectives:

Participants will be able to new and updated initiatives surrounding our APTA Kansas Strategic Plan Implementation and other important activities including:

1.  Mentorship and involvement "belonging" engagement for our Students, New Professionals and current members
2. APTA updates and reports
3. Bylaws revisions at APTA affecting all Components or Communities (sections and academies)
4. Advocacy efforts in our State and Nationally
5. CEU organization Q and A.
6. Awards Applications; remembering those that have given back to our profession
7. New Foundation for Research Initiative
8. Poster planning for Spring conference
9. In-person Spring Conference with Keynote speaker Friday, posters and platform presentation
