The APTA Kansas Fall Conference will be held October 15-16, 2021 in Wichita, KS
The Fall 2021 APTA Kansas Conference will host 2 full days of educational sessions for a total CEU credit of 15.0 hours (including the optional business meeting and centenial celebration).
Our topics will include:
- Department of Defense Amputation/Polytrauma Care Programs Clinical Updates and Best Practices: Rehabilitation, Medical/Surgical Management, and Research
- Strengthening Our Exercise Prescriptions
Review muscular deficits for common pathologies; review lit for exercise selection and dosage to address deficits - Telehealth - Strategies and Tools for Completing Virtual Evaluations and Treatments
- Osteosarcopenia and Aging, Something Old, Something New and What to Do
- Blood Flow Restriction
- Business Luncheon/HOD wrap up
- Testing and Training Lower Extremity Rate of Force Development (RFD)
- Analysis and Treatment of the Injured Runner
On Friday evening we will also have our Centennial Celebration which will include CEU speakers, networking and fun!
