Platform and Poster Sessions

The Platform and Poster Sessions will be Saturday morning, March 15 from 8:30-11:00 am. The platform and poster sessions are included in your conference registration. APTA KS would like to congratulate this year's Platform and Poster Sessions award winners.

The Best Scientific Inquiry Platform presentation award was given to Lingjun Chen for her study titled
“STRATEGIES TO MINIMIZE FALL-RELATED INJURIES IN OLDER ADULTS AT RISK OF FALLS: THE FALLING SAFELY TRAINING (FAST) STUDY”.

The Best Scientific Inquiry DPT Student poster was awarded to Morgan Huggins, Gleason, H.J, Stevens, H.I, Jennifer Celso for their study titled
“DYSPAREUNIA IN POSTPARTUM WOMEN WITH DIASTASIS RECTUS ABDOMINIS”.

The Best Scientific Inquiry Overall Poster was tied and awarded to Samuel Durairaj, Laurie Steen, Alvin Beltramo, Hannes Devos, Abiodun Akinwuntan for their study titled
CLINICAL DRIVING ASSESSMENTS AND PREDICTIVE FACTORS FOR FITNESS TO DRIVE.
AND
Veronica Vabishchevich, Smith RT, and Bittel AJ for their study titled:
MARKERS OF CLINICAL AND MITOCHONDRIAL ADAPTATION IN RESPONSE TO MODERATE INTENSITY CONTINUOUS TRAINING: A SYSTEMATIC REVIEW AND META-ANALYSIS

The BEST Clinician Scientific Inquiry clinician poster was awarded to Kelsey Sliter and Rachel Word for the study titled
ACUTE REHAB THERAPISTS' PERCEPTION AND EXPERIENCE WITH TRANSFER TRAINING DURING PRE/POSTPARTUM PHASES
