APTA Kansas Members and interested parties please consider donating to the APTA Kansas Political Action Committee or PAC. This is truly the only entity that advocates for the physical therapy profession in Kansas by identifying and supporting legislators that are aligned with our vision and see the value of our services.

It is recommended that Physical Therapist Assistants give a minimum of $60.00 per year and Physical Therapists give a minimum of $100.00 per year.

We also ask that you agree to make this giving a regular occurrence so that you don't forget to support a profession that gives back so much to you.

The phrase "talk is cheap" is more than just a cliche today. It is the way the world, especially politics, operates. Your legislators are in a very difficult position. They are receiving messages from hundreds of healthcare providers, including PTs, chiropractors, OTs, and MDs. Legislators receive conflicting arguments daily: one side presenting their argument on an issue, the other side giving opposing facts on the same issue, with each side believing that they are correct and that the other group is woefully misinformed or trying to get away with something.

By financially supporting candidates that truly understand the issues surrounding the practice of physical therapy we assure a thriving presence in the State Capitol of Kansas.
